Shevonne Hunt hosts Australia’s first daily parenting radio show, Kinderling Conversation, reaching over 20,000 parents and carers nationally each week.
She is passionate about supporting other parents, and having real conversations about the challenging, awkward and great things that happen when you’re looking after small children.
Shevonne is a regular contributor to Kidspot, writing searingly honest opinion pieces about her own trials and tribulations as a modern Mum. To date, her most successful article, ‘Should Breastfeeding Hurt?’, has received more than 6,500 page views and 218 Facebook comments.
Prior to joining Kinderling, Shevonne produced regular features for ABC Radio National including a music documentary on ageing blues musicians in the Deep South of America and an investigative piece on data mining and social media.
An accomplished radio producer, she has worked with high profile personalities such as the ABC’s Richard Glover, Geraldine Doogue and Natasha Mitchell.
Shevonne has also presented community radio shows about the media, law and current affairs, as well as taught Radio at the University of Technology and Macquarie University.
